Product Care & Warranty
Maintaining Your Upholstered Furniture
Periodically, cleaning your fabric upholstery becomes necessary. Achieving optimal results involves understanding the fabric type and cleaning it accordingly. Refer to the law label on your upholstery for details on the fabric type.
Consulting a professional upholstery cleaning service is recommended before cleaning your fabric upholstery. Note that each fabric reacts differently to cleaning agents; hence, test a hidden spot first to ensure no damage occurs post-cleaning.
Instructions for Cleaning Different Materials
Man-made fabrics (e.g., microfiber, nylon, polyester, acetate, olefin, and herculean) should be spot-cleaned using a foam, water-based cleaning agent (like mild soap or upholstery cleaner).
Organic materials (e.g., cotton, chenille, denim, linen, wool, silk, rayon, brocade, tapestry, and damask) should be spot cleaned using a mild, water-free solvent or dry cleaning product.
Caring for Your Leather Furniture
Genuine leather, a resilient and revered material, boasts timeless value. Its exceptional breathability ensures comfort in varying climates. With elastic properties unique to leather, it conforms gracefully to the body. Each hide narrates its history through natural markings, making every piece distinctive.
Our tips for maintaining your leather include:
- Regularly dust furniture using a clean, soft, dry cloth.
- For spills like soft drinks, coffee, tea, milk, chocolate, oil, grease, cosmetics, or foundation cream, blot the excess liquid with a cloth or absorbent paper. Use a clean cloth soaked in mild water and a neutral soap solution to gently remove stains from the outside inward. Avoid soaking the leather; promptly dry it with a clean cloth. Never expose leather to direct sunlight or a hairdryer. Use only water and mild soap.
- Keep furniture away from heat sources like heaters or radiators.
- Preserve leather's natural color by avoiding direct sunlight or bright lamps.
- Caution: Using unapproved cleaners may damage leather irreversibly, leading to cracks and discoloration.
Caring for Your Wood Furniture
Our tips for maintaining your Wood Furniture include:
- Ensure protection from heat and moisture at all times. Promptly clean up spills and utilize protective mats or felt backing when placing objects directly on wood surfaces.
- Dust weekly using a soft, lint-free cloth, wiping along the wood grain for optimal cleaning.
- If preferred, sparingly apply furniture polish onto a cloth before gently polishing the wood surface (avoid direct application).
